    The RotMG Collection Log & Shiny Tracker

    RotMG Collection Log is a free collection tracker for Realm of the Mad God. Use it as a RotMG shiny tracker to check off every shiny variant by dungeon, or as a RotMG loot tracker for every unique drop (white bag), ST set, reskin, character skin and pet skin in the game.

    Log in with your RealmEye account to save your collection log, then use Check for Gear to verify the shinies your characters are wearing and climb the all-time, monthly and weekly shiny leaderboards.

    RotMG Shiny Leaderboard

    1. Step 1: Equip your shiny item on a Character that is public on your RealmEye Profile.
    2. Step 2: Go to Nexus so that Character gear is updated on RealmEye.
    3. Step 3: Click Check Gear to verify. This can take 15 - 30 seconds on characters new to your RealmEye profile.
    4. Note: if you have multiple of the same class, RealmEye will only show the highest fame class. Ensure you are equipping items on a class that is visible on your RealmEye Profile or Gear Check will not work.

    RotMG Sniffer

    A free, open-source companion app for Realm of the Mad God on Windows. It logs your shinies to the Shiny Leaderboard the moment you equip them while in the Nexus, and its optional DPS Meter shows everyone's damage on the boss you're fighting.

    Automatic shiny logging

    Equip a shiny in the Nexus and the sniffer asks the site to run Check for Gear for you, so it's logged without opening the website. It also adds collection items (unique drops, STs, reskins) you haven't verified yet.

    • Points still only come from what your public RealmEye profile shows, exactly like pressing the button yourself.
    • See your rank, points and everything logged this session in the sniffer's window.
    • Always On Top and Small View, so it can sit next to the game.

    Boss DPS meter

    Install the DPS Meter from the sniffer's Modules button for a live RotMG DPS meter: every player fighting your quest boss, ranked from highest DPS to lowest, with total damage and share of the fight.

    • Only boss fights: it starts when you hit the boss your quest marker points at.
    • Damage the game doesn't report per player is shown on its own line, never added to anyone.
    • Damage calculations are actively being improved for more accurate DPS.

    Read-only and open source

    The sniffer only reads copies of the game traffic your PC already receives. It never sends anything to the game, never changes any traffic and never touches the game client. Your sniffer key can only request gear checks for your account. All the code is public: sniffer · DPS Meter. Downloads and updates come from those GitHub releases and are checked against their published checksums.

    Set up in a few minutes

    1. Download the sniffer and extract the zip (Windows 10 or 11).
    2. Connect sniffer on this page or the Shiny Leaderboard to get your sniffer key.
    3. Run it as administrator, or install the free Npcap to run it without admin rights.
    4. Paste your key, then go to the Nexus in game. It updates itself when a new version is out.

    FAQ

    What is a RotMG sniffer?

    A program that reads Realm of the Mad God's network traffic to monitor gear switches for tracking shinies. The optional DPS module reads incoming and outgoing packets to determine damage dealt by the player and other players.

    Do I need it to use the shiny leaderboard?

    No. You can always press Check for Gear yourself on the leaderboard. The sniffer just does it for you.

    Does it work with a VPN?

    Usually with Npcap installed. The sniffer tells you if the VPN is blocking it and how to fix it.
